A man is in custody after bringing a knife into a Sheetz and allegedly acting erratically.
Butler Township Police were called to the Sheetz on Center Avenue Sunday at 10 am for a man who allegedly wielding a knife.
30-year-old Brian Deweese of Indiana, PA, is also accused of stabbing a vehicle’s tire in the Sheetz parking lot then running into the store with the knife.
After fleeing on foot Deweese was picked up by police on Whippo Ave.
Deweese is facing several charges including simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and possessing instrument of crime.
