A Butler man is facing charges after an argument led to a gun being pointed at couple and an alleged bullet hole was found in a home.
Butler City Police were called to the 200 block of Morton Avenue earlier this week after a bullet hole was found in a home.
Police say that after the victims got into an argument with 56-year-old Joseph Musick, he brought out a gun from his home. Later in the day the victims say they heard what they say was a gun shot and found a bullet hole in their home. The victims allege it was Musick’s gun that put the hole in the home.
After a search of the home, police found the gun they believe Musick brought out during the argument, but did not accuse Musick of shooting at the home.
Musick was released from the Butler County Prison on a $50,000 bond and was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and possession of a firearm prohibited.
*A previous version of this story said police charged Musick with being responsible for the bullet hole. That is however incorrect; he was charged for taking the gun out during the argument.
