A Butler man is facing several charges after threating to behead a woman and burn down her home.
Butler City Police were called to a home on the 500 block of West Wayne Street this past Saturday for 34-year old Carlos Maldonado Fuentes. Maldonado Fuentes allegedly said he would kill the woman by beheading her and then burn the home down by lighting a Bible on fire.
When police arrived on scene Maldonado Fuentes fled through a second story window by jumping onto a neighbor’s home. Then police searched the area for the man and found him hiding in the 500 block of Virginia Ave.
Maldonado Fuentes is facing several charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person.
