A local man is facing charges after assaulting an employee at Butler Memorial Hospital.
On October 9, 65-year-old Hugh Miller of Butler entered Butler Memorial Hospital looking to detox off crack-cocaine. After being informed by a physician assistant that Miller would not be able to get the care needed he allegedly lunged at the physician assistant.
After a short scuffle, someone came to help the physician assistant and Miller was strapped down in a bed until police arrived.
Miller has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment.
