A West Sunbury man is facing felony charges after he allegedly tried to strangle his wife.
37-year-old Alan Gould was arrested just after 1 a.m. Sunday after police were called to a business in Cherry Township for a reported assault.
According to police, the argument between Gould and his wife started at their home in Clay Township Saturday night when he allegedly pointed a gun at her and threatened to shoot.
The situation then calmed down and the two went out of the home. But after returning, police say that’s when Gould tried to strangle his wife inside the car.
Gould was arrested and placed in the Butler County Prison.
