A motorist has been charged following a crash with injury that occurred over the weekend in neighboring Mercer County.
According to the Grove City Police, 20-year-old Evan Wright of West Alexander was traveling on East Main Street just after noon last Sunday when he allegedly became distracted and failed to stop for traffic.
Wright’s vehicle then struck a vehicle operated by 57-year-old Michelle Gerwick of Grove City. A portion of the roadway had to be closed for a time and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Wright has been cited for a vehicle speed violation.
