A man accused of attacking a coworker has agreed to plea deal that will see him serving over two years in jail.
Judge Timothy McCune has accepted a plea agreement between the Butler County District Attorney’s office and 42-year-old Russell Smith Jr. of Mars for an attack on a coworker at the Aldi warehouse in Saxonburg in October of 2024.
Smith has plead guilty to aggravated assault and will serve between 30 and 84 months in jail. He will also have to pay court fees and restitution.
