An Allegheny County man was injured following a motorcycle crash that occurred last weekend in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, 61-year-old Keith Garland of Tarentum had stopped his Harley Davidson at a light on North Main Street Extension near Filbert Road just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say that Garland was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Karen Venditto of Butler who was allegedly distracted by her phone and did not see the red light.
Garland was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Garland’s passenger was also injured but did not require immediate medical treatment.
