A sentence has been given to one of the two teenagers from Brookville who posted videos abusing a deer to social media last year.
According to our news partners at WXPI-TV, 18-year-old Alexander Smith entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor cruelty to animal charges. He will receive two years probation, 200 hours of community service, and must be available to speak at hunting safety courses.
Smith also had his hunting license revoked for 15 years. He and an unnamed 17-year-old juvenile male originally faced charges including felony aggravated animal cruelty and felony conspiracy to commit animal cruelty.
