A traffic stop in Adams Township last year has resulted in the conviction of a Bellevue man on possession of child pornography.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 26-year-old Christopher Morrison has been sentenced to four years in prison along with 10 years of supervised release.
After pulling over Morrison’s vehicle as part of a narcotics related traffic stop, Adams Township officers seized Morrison’s cell phone and found multiple images of suspected child pornography.
The FBI did a forensic examination of the phone and discovered that it contained about 700 images and 11 videos of the sexual exploitation of a minor under 12 years old.
