At least one person has been seriously injured as a result of an accident Monday afternoon on New Castle Road.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 4:30 p.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle near the intersection with Evans City Road.
Crews from Butler Township and Butler EMS were among those responding to the scene to find a man and a motorcycle still on the road. Air transport was requested to land near the Butler Area School District administration building.
The cause of the crash and extent of injures are both unknown at this time. Traffic was delayed for a time in order to allow for crews to clear the scene.
