Margaret Leota Davis Eppinger, 96, of Butler, PA, passed away on September 24, 2024, at Sunnyview surrounded by family.
Born on February 27, 1928, in East Butler, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Margaret (Crispin) Davis.
Margaret was a homemaker and a former member of East Butler Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, working word puzzles, and was also a big Pirate fan.
Margaret is survived by her son John (Sandi) Eppinger of Butler, two daughters, Mary (Ken) Green, of West Sunbury, and Bonnie (Sam) Zurzolo of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Stella Eppinger, of Butler; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, two step grandsons; two step great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Betty Eppinger, of Butler; a close friend of the family, Chuck Stivason, of Butler; as well as a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Eppinger, whom she married on November 20, 1944, and who passed away September 9, 1997; four sons, David (Yvonne), Richard, Edward (Sandy), and Raymond Eppinger; seven brothers; one sister; one granddaughter; one grandson; one step granddaughter; and three infant great-grandchildren.
All services will be private.
Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
