The work on the new Marion Township sewage treatment plant is continuing to make progress.
County officials provided an update saying that the project is about 25 percent complete.
Currently, crews are removing sludge that is at the lagoon site that will house the new treatment facility.
However, all of the equipment has been delivered and is ready to be installed as soon as the work permits.
The nearly $5 million project has been funded through both state and federal grants.
