Mark Stephen McBride, 53, of Butler, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends, on Friday, January 19, 2024, after an extended illness with AML Leukemia.
He was born August 3, 1970 in Butler, the son of the late Harold J. McBride, Sr. and Dorothy (Barron) McBride of Butler.
He graduated from Butler High School in 1988. Following graduation he worked at Eat-N-Park as a line cook and shift manager. Followed by employment at Magnetics until they closed their doors. He later was employed at Con Yeager for 22 years as a distribution manager were he retired from in 2022 due to his health. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Butler. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, especially in the summer to the beach with his friends. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. Mark also loved all animals.
Survived by his mother, Dorothy (Barron) McBride. Also surviving is his brother, Matthew McBride and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his long term girlfriend Denise Wadlinger.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Harold J. McBride, Sr. and his brother, Harold J. McBride, Jr.

Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1-3PM.
