The Mars Area High School will kick off its 2020 Homecoming Celebration with several themed days this week.
Monday has been designated as Comfy Cozy Day followed by Team Spirit Day on Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Red White and Blue Thursday, and Blue and Gold Day on Friday.
As a result of the limitations on gatherings and the need for social distancing activities such as the Powder Puff Football game, Homecoming Pep Rally, Homecoming Parade, and Homecoming Dance have been canceled.
The Fightin’ Planets Homecoming Football Game against the Plum Mustangs is planned for 7 p.m. on Friday at the Mars Athletic Complex. Homecoming royalty will be announced before the game as well as at halftime.
