Local residents are invited to join the Mars Area School District to help neighbors in need.
The second annual WPIAL Food and Fund Drive Challenge to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank begins tomorrow.
Monetary donations can be made through Saturday, October 22nd on the Pittsburgh Food Bank website. Mars is also collecting canned goods and non-perishable items at all varsity home sporting events.
As part of the challenge, schools are competing to see who can provide the most meals. Winners in each division will be recognized with a banner at a gathering next month. Visit the WPIAL website for more information.
