The Mars Boys Lacrosse team defeated Marple Newtown 9-6 Saturday to win the PIAA Class 2A championship. The Planets became the first WPIAL team to ever win a state championship in Lacrosse. Mars completed their season 23-1 overall.
PIAA Softball:
–Seneca Valley will meet Pennsbury today in the PIAA Class 6A Semifinals today at 2:30pm. The game will be played at Chambersburg high school.
–Armstrong will meet Penn-Trafford in the state Class 5A Semifinals today at Mars high school beginning at 2pm.
The North Allegheny Boys Volleyball team defeated Central Dauphin 3-1 Saturday to win their 4th PIAA title in a row.
