Mars Area Elementary School students in kindergarten through 6th grade will get to participate in literacy theme days this week.
In recognition of the Scholastic Book Fair, Monday has been named “Celebrate the Grinch” day with kids encouraged to wear green clothes.
Tuesday is “Reading is Magical” day with students able to wear a neon or tie-dye shirt to school.
Other themes include “Be the Kind Kid” Day, “Celebrate the Sports Section” Day and “Reading Rocks” Day.
