Students in the Mars Area School District will have the chance to decorate an administrator following a recent fundraiser for charity.
Mars Area Primary Center Principal Jessica Semler issued a challenge for the chance to douse the principal with silly string as part of the American Heart Association fundraiser earlier this year.
Students raised over $20,000 with Kim Schuelke’s AM kindergarten class and Kiley Shine’s first grade class registering the most number of participants for the Kids Heart Challenge.
Those two classes will coat Semler with silly string on Thursday at 10:30 and 11 a.m. at the Mars Primary Center playground.
