Some local students will be collecting money while learning about heart health beginning this week.
Mars Area Centennial School, Elementary School, and Primary Center will be holding a Healthy Heart fundraiser starting Wednesday and continuing through Friday, March 10th.
Students will learn about heart health while participating in heart healthy activities in physical education class. Kids will also have the chance to participate in theme days every Friday including Crazy Socks Day next Friday.
This fundraiser will benefit the American Heart Association through the Kids Heart Challenge App and online through the Heart Association’s Heart Challenge website.
