Mars high school’s Coffield named Gatorade PA Player of the Year

Mars high school junior soccer player Ellie Coffield has been named the Gatorade Pennsylvania player of the year. Coffield helped lead the Planets to the WPIAL and PIAA Class 3A championships last fall. Mars went unbeaten for the season, as Coffield scored 31 goals and added 30 assists. The Planets were 22-0-1 last season and allowed just 10 goals all season.
