Mars lacrosse teams sweep their way to WPIAL title games

The Mars boys and girls Lacrosse teams will play for WPIAL championships following Class 2A Semifinals at Shaler high school last night. The Mars girls defeated Chartiers Valley 17-8 in the opening game, then the Planet boys defeated Hampton 18-4. The Mars girls will face Blackhawk in the WPIAL title match later this week at North Hills high school. The Mars boys will meet South Fayette in the championship match at Robert Morris University.
