The Mars Area School Board is offering local residents the chance to view a draft of the district’s Comprehensive Plan before it is submitted to the state next month.
At their meeting Tuesday night, the board directed that a draft of the plan for 2021 to 2024 be available for public review on the district’s website through Tuesday, November 9th.
According to Superintendent Dr. Mark Gross, work on the plan began before he took over at Mars a year and a half ago. The plan uses data to discuss district needs and achievement gaps as well as what goals and interventions will be used to address those needs and close those gaps.
If the plan receives final approval next month, it will be submitted to the state before the November 30th deadline.
