The Mars Area School Board will hold a special meeting later this month to unveil projections about needs as well as receive feedback from the community.
A Special Meeting of the Mars School Board is planned for Wednesday, March 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Mars High School LGI Room. This presentation will also be streamed online.
Jon Thomas of Thomas and Williamson will present a recently completed enrollment and capacity study for the Mars Area School District that was started several months ago.
In addition to speaking about projected growth within the district and options to consider about specific facilities, Mars Superintendent Dr. Mark Gross expects the presentation to include “significant recommendations” about district operations.
