Students at Mars Area Primary Center collected over 10,000 diapers as part of the school’s ‘Stuff the Bus’ diaper drive to benefit local families.
Diapers were collected and stuffed into a school bus last week. They were then taken to the Lighthouse Foundation in Middlesex Township, where they will be distributed to residents in need.
The foundation is a Christian outreach organization serving impoverished individuals and families in northern Allegheny and Butler counties.
This annual collection is held in conjunction with National Week of the Young Child.
