A couple of local students are asking for “likes” and “shares” of their online entry in a public service announcement contest.
A couple of seniors from Mars Area High School have entered the FBI Pittsburgh Citizens Academy Alumni Association HOPE Initiative Video Contest. HOPE stands for Heroin Outreach Prevention and Education.
The video is posted to YouTube and gives information about the local and national impact of the opioid crisis. The deadline to like or share the local students’ video is this Friday, December 20th.
Contest winners will be announced January 24th and first place winner will receive a $5,000 Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation grant to benefit Mars Area High School as well as tickets to a VIP Party Suite at an upcoming Penguins game and an invitation to “FBI Agent for a Day” at the FBI Pittsburgh Field Office.
