Mars Area School District students will observe Mental Health Awareness Month with theme days this week.
Monday has been designated “Music Monday” and kids are encouraged to wear a t-shirt featuring their favorite band or music genre.
Tuesday is “Tie-Dye Tuesday” with students able to wear tie-dye or colorful clothes. Other themes include “Wellness Wednesday”, “Tranquil Thursday” and “Feel Good Friday”.
In addition, Mars will join in the Mental Health America “Be Seen in Green” Challenge. Donations to the fundraiser will be accepted online.
