Some local students will be participating in theme days as part of Digital Citizenship Week.
Students at Mars Area Centennial School will observe “Sports Day” on Monday with sports jerseys and apparel. Tuesday is “Unity Day” with students encouraged to wear orange. Other themes include “Be the Kind Kid Day”, “Wacky Sock Day” and “Hat Day”.
Throughout the week, teachers will talk with students about how to develop healthy technology habits to avoid potential negative impacts on mental health and well-being.
