The family of a Karns City football player who collapsed last Friday have provided an update on his condition.
Mason Martin was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after collapsing on the field during a Karns City home game Friday.
His family said in an update on social media that Martin has slight movement in his arms and his eyes are reacting to light. His lung has also fully recovered and a chest tube was removed.
Karns City High School will have counselors available starting today to help with students.
The family continues to ask for prayers for Martin.
