Mary (Gall) Scott, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 following a short illness. She was born January 17, 1935 to the late George and Irene (Bachman) Gall in Butler. She was a graduate of Butler High School.
She was the loving and proud Mother of three sons, Randy (Jessica) Scott, Jeff (Ellen) Scott, Stephen (Pam) Scott, and daughter Lisa (Jim) Gray. Mary was “Grammy” to her precious grandchildren Ryan, Aaron, Sarah, Jocelyn, Morgan, Kristen, Lauren, Elyse, and Emily. Her pride and joy were great-grandchildren John, Claire, and Ainslee.
Mary, a selfless devoted Mom, cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and most recently, her great-grandchildren. Much of her life was spent at little league ballgames, and basketball gyms in support of her children. She was a part of a card club for years, and later in life she loved attending various dances and the friends she met there over the years.
She is survived by brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Maggie Gall, brother David Gall, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by; husband Norman Scott, brother Stanley Gall, sister Carol (Gall) Leyland, nephew David Gall and companion William O’Brien.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Sunnyview ‘Sunflower’ floor for the love and comfort they showed our Mom during her stay there.
Arrangements are being handled by Young Funeral Home, Butler, Pa. Private funeral services are being planned.
