Mary Orra Hoffman, 74, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Renfrew, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at UPMC Passavant.
She was born May 6, 1947 in Butler, the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Covert) Osche.
Mary was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and attended Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed stock car racing, Bingo, casinos, flea markets, shuffle board and poker night. Mary loved being with her family and friends. Mary had worked at Bobbie Brooks, Butler County Memorial Park and as a clerk at Culligan.
Surviving are her daughter, Saundi Hoffman of Renfrew; her son, Robert Hoffman of Mercer; two grandsons, Travis and Dalton Hoffman; a great granddaughter, Aspyn Hoffman; a sister, Barbara “Pee Wee” McCune of East Butler; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris (Ron) Williams of Renfrew; her several nieces and nephews; and her granddog, Junior.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years, David J. Hoffman who died October 13, 2012.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7th at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler.
Interment in the Butler County Memorial Park.
