Recovering Karns City football player Mason Martin is continuing to make progress in his rehabilitation at Children’s Hospital.
An update from his father states that a sleep study of Mason revealed that he has obstructive apnea which is what most people who have apnea are able to regulate with a CPap machine at home.
Mason is still doing well in rehab and has been more awake and alert. He is also getting faster and more efficient with his movements. He has been playing board games and also received acupuncture on his left leg over the weekend with the result of an increased range of motion.
There is no update on when Mason will be discharged but the goal is for him to be stable enough to not require a return trip in the near future.
