Construction is expected to begin soon on the Butler Senior High School addition.
According to Superintendent Dr. Brian White, the steel beams for the new auxiliary gym will be arriving on Wednesday.
The gym will be housed in between the current gymnasium and the cafeteria.
District leaders hope construction on the project will be completed by the beginning of next school year.
