Matthew “Biz” Zulick, 54, of Butler passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2020. He was born in Butler on September 22, 1966 to the late William and Mary Ann Zulick. As siblings, we fondly remember Matt and his warm, sunny disposition. As a child, he was always “busy”, and this became his nickname which evolved into “Biz”. He was a past member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. As a young child and into his teens, he was a talented baseball player and excelled as a second baseman. He attended Butler County Community College where he studied Parks and Recreational Management. As a truck driver he enjoyed his many travels. Biz enjoyed meeting others, was an avid Steeler Fan, and had a passion for gardening, nature, deer, and wildlife in general. He especially loved his nine nieces and nephews. Biz enjoyed holidays while celebrating Eastern European foods and customs. His best buddy was “Shadow”, his cat. He lived with and took great care of his Mother, Mary Ann Zulick prior to her death in November of 2020 and was heartbroken over her loss. Biz will always be remembered for his contagious smile and fun sense of humor.
