The Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL fell to the New Jersey Generals on Friday, the final 29-18.
Maulers quarterback, and former Slippery Rock University athlete Roland Rivers III, threw for 218 yards and one touchdown and ran for 28 yards and another touchdown. Pittsburgh kicker Ramiz Ahmed also converted on a 61 yard field goal, which comes one week after he converted on a 58 yard field goal.
The Maulers will return to action next Sunday (June 12th) when they take on the Philadelphia Stars. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.
