Frontline heroes during the current COVID-19 crisis can enjoy free meals at local McDonald’s for another week.
The restaurants are offering “thank you meals” to demonstrate appreciation for the selfless service of healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics.
The meals are available at no charge via drive thru or carry out at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide through May 5. Frontline heroes can simply show a work badge or visit in uniform.
Local McDonald’s owner/operator Meghan Sweeney in Butler says they’ve served thousands of “thank you meals” since the program began last week.
