Police say an argument that began through text messages ultimately led a Butler man to be stabbed earlier this week.
The incident happened on Tuesday just before midnight when police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital to investigate one person who was being treated for a stabbing.
During their investigation, police learned that an argument between multiple people eventually boiled over into a physical fight.
A group of people showed up at a home in the 400 block of Negley Avenue and during the fight, police say 18-year-old Antoine Funes of McKees Rocks stabbed the victim.
Police interviewed witnesses, including a woman who drove the group to the fight.
Funes was arrested on Wednesday and denies the accusations.
