A local teacher is one of 20 across the country to receive a grant to fulfill a classroom need.
Verizon authorized retailer TCC will provide a $1,000 Amazon gift card to McQuistion Elementary second grade teacher Amanda Gold.
Gold says that she plans on purchasing various types of seating for students to use such as wobble stools, bean bag chairs, yoga balls with stands, wiggle seats, cushions and scoop chairs, as well as a reading rug and organizers for students to keep classroom materials.
This giveaway is part of TCC’s seventh annual Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway.
