A group of lead doctors in Western Pennsylvania are encouraging residents to take all three approved COVID-19 vaccines.
The Western PA Regional Chief Medical Officer Consortium say that all three vaccines—the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson—all provide great protection against severe illness and death caused by COVID-19.
They add that rather than wonder about the differences between the vaccines, they recommend taking whichever vaccine becomes available the soonest.
Doctors also add that while COVID numbers are improving, it is still important to follow the mitigation efforts.
