This long holiday weekend, marking the unofficial start of summer travel season, could see the third highest travel volume since AAA began tracking holiday travel volumes dating back to 2000.
Overall, air travel is expected to increase by 9% over last year’s figures while road travel is could rise by six percent in the mid-Atlantic region.
