A Mercer County woman has been charged after a 2-year-old child was found naked outside last weekend.
According to Grove City Police, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Broad Street just before 6 p.m. Saturday in response to a report about a child outside alone.
An investigation revealed the child’s mother to be 28-year-old Kelsey Sweeney and also determined her apartment to be in a deplorable condition.
More than one child was removed from the home by Children and Youth Services while police have charged Sweeney with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
