Michael J. Bloom

Michael J. Bloom, 72, of Butler passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born in Philadelphia on January 11, 1951 to the late Jack and Grace Bloom. Michael graduated from Butler in 1968 and from there he worked at Heckett as an accountant. He was known for being a great husband, loving music, walking, and having many friends. Michael enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates, playing viola, and playing in his bowling leagues. Michael was the beloved husband of Melody (Caldwell) Bloom since their marriage in 1982; brother of Nancy (Jim) Fulmer, Linda (Ron) McClelland, and Patrick (Cathy) Bloom. He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Bloom. Family and friends will be received on Sunday April 2, 2023 from 1-3 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD.
