Michelle Lynn Voelker, age 46, of Butler, passed away at her residence on Tues., April 18, 2023.
Born in Butler on March 24, 1977, she was the daughter of Connie Voelker (Gary) Malinski.
Michelle worked for many years at Rachel’s Roadhouse, Springfield Grille, and the Field House as a server.
She was a fun spirited yet stubborn soul who took on many passions. She had a natural flair for writing, drawing, and creating jewelry; she found comfort and peace in using those talents to express herself. Her love of animals was unmatched; there was always room for “one more”. A favorite pastime was the many trips to Buttermilk Falls with her dogs.
Michelle was a star, sun and moon child by nature. She loved to be outside, whether planting flowers, feeding the birds, or getting the backyard ready for warm nights, picnics, fires and friends. She had a big heart and she cared deeply for her children, animals and friends. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Jailynn Michelle Voelker, of Grove City, and Jesalynn Voelker, of West Sunbury; her best friend and cousin, Ashlee Hoehn, of Butler; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and her faithful companions, Timber and Chakra.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; one aunt, Debbie Voelker; one uncle, David Voelker; and her cousin, Shawn Murphey.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Friday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
A Blessing Service will follow at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Adam Verona officiating.
