Monday marks 30 years since the large blizzard of 1993.
The first round of snow started to move in on March 13th and it packed a powerful punch.
The snowfall that day still holds the single day record, with the Pittsburgh region received 23.6 inches of snow that day.
Eventually, the official total from the blizzard would hit 25.3 inches.
There were also issues dealing with blowing and drifting snow.
Wind chills meanwhile were close to zero.
