The latest update from the state Department of Health shows an increase of 51 new COVID-19 cases over the last three days for Butler County.
That comes with 539 negative tests, giving the three day report a 9.6 percent positivity rate.
Every week the state Department of Health also update the positivity rate over the past seven days—and that was up slightly for the county this past week at 3.8 percent.
As of this morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating one patient for the coronavirus, with no one in the ICU.
