Hospitalizations are remaining stable in Butler according to the latest update from Butler Health System.
According to an update Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating 50 patients for the coronavirus, with 11 COVID patients in the ICU.
However, the hospital has reported eight additional deaths to the Department of Health since Friday.
There were 144 new cases for Butler County on Monday, bringing the running total since the beginning of the pandemic to 7,853. There were 181 negative test results in Monday’s update from the Department of Health.
So far, the Department of Health says that 147 county residents have died due to COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
