There was just one new case of COVID-19 for Butler County Monday.
It comes after a weekend of nine new cases, which continues the county’s average of just single digit cases over the past week.
As for local hospitalizations, Butler Health System says they will only be updating media outlets once a week since there are few new admissions to the hospital due to COVID.
Statewide hospitalizations have also continued to decline. According to the latest data from the Department of Health, there are just over 500 patients being treated for coronavirus. That number was still over 1,000 at the start of June.
