There were 11 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Monday.
That comes after 26 new cases this weekend and one additional death—which brings the county’s death toll to 414.
Local hospitalizations due to COVID though have risen since last week. As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 10 patients for the coronavirus, with two COVID patients in the ICU.
That’s up from seven patients on Friday.
Statewide, there were less than a thousand newly reported cases today. And hospitalizations in the state are continuing a downward trend. There are just over 1,200 patients hospitalized with COVID, down by about 200 since last Monday.
