Enjoy an evening outdoors at Moraine State Park later this week to learn about the behavior of local creatures.
A park naturalist will present a program titled “Amphibians of the Night” on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pavilion 7 McDanel’s Launch Area on the North Shore
After learning about the different kinds of frogs and toads at Moraine, participants will have the chance to identify them on a night hike. This event is appropriate for kids ages 7 and older who must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors should bring a flashlight.
Pre-registration is required by calling the Moraine State Park office. Those planning to attend will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and should bring a facemask or covering.
