Adults- young and old- are welcome to enjoy an evening on the water at a local park this week.
Moraine State Park is holding a “Porters Cove Paddle” on Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Porters Cove Boat Launch. Park staff will lead a nature-based exploration of this area of Lake Arthur.
This beginners event is for ages 12 and older with those under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Participants can bring their own kayaks. A limited number of kayaks are available. Life jackets are required.
Participants should dress for the weather and bring drinking water. All current health guidelines will be followed. Call the park office to reserve a spot or for more information.
